Wes Tuttle was the longtime General Manager of New England Sports Center since it opened its doors in 1994 and grew it into the largest hockey complex in the world. That, however, is not what Wes will be remembered for by all that knew him. Above all else, he was all about his beloved town of Marlborough, growing the game of hockey and, more importantly, the people that made up those communities.
He had a passion for encouraging young kids to get on the ice and get excited about the game he played and loved. Beyond the game though, he quietly helped so many behind the scenes without any fanfare. He always put the person first and did the right thing for them even when nobody was watching. That is what made Wes Tuttle so beloved by all that knew him.
Wes believed that everyone deserved the chance to experience the great game of hockey and understood that financial barriers precluded many from playing. In that vein and in honor of Wes, we have started the Wes Tuttle Foundation!
The mission of the Wes Tuttle Foundation is simple: assist youth and high school athletes experiencing financial hardship so they have access to the great game of hockey and future scholarship opportunities.
Join us in celebrating Wes Tuttle and his legacy of No Skates Left Unlaced!
